Servas Rwanda is a non-governmental organization established in 2015 and legally registered by the Rwanda Governance Board in 2016. It is independent and autonomous affiliate member of Servas International and it is based on understanding, tolerance and world peace.
Servas Rwanda is a network of travelers and hosts of all ages, abilities, and walks of life working together to foster peace, gender justice, goodwill and mutual respect.
- To accept hosts and travelers of any nationality and seek purposeful/meaningful visits to other Servas members
- To transform conflict through gender-sensitive active nonviolence
- To promote mutual understanding, respect, and use of conflict resolution processes among men and women in order to build sustainable peace;
- To promote healing of emotional wounds, reconciliation, peace and unity of mankind and mutual understanding of ideas, outlooks and problems of the people of the world;
